The 1st ESUR Junior Network Summer School has been assesed as ascompliant by Medtech Europe (unique platform dedicated to ethics and compliance projects in the healthcare sector).

Course Requirements

Participants are kindly requested to bring their own laptops, as they are required for the workshops.

All workshops are first come, first serve as there are limited seats available.

Tablets are not recommended. For a high-quality experience, laptops are recommended.

About Valencia

Electric Voltage

Electric power in Valencia operates on 230 volts and 50 hertz. Travelers may need an adapter for plug types C or E.

Weather

In June, Valencia is warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures around 27–30°C and mild nights near 18–20°C. Rain is rare, sunshine is abundant, and the Mediterranean reaches about 22–23°C, making it excellent beach weather.

Local Currency & Payments

The local currency in Spain is the Euro (EUR). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in most places, including shops, restaurants, and hotels, but small local businesses, markets, and some cafés may prefer cash, so it’s useful to carry a little with you.

Get to Valencia

Valencia is easily accessible via València Airport (VLC), located about 8 km from the city center. The city is well connected by metro, bus, and taxi, and also by high-speed trains and major highways linking it to other Spanish and European destinations.
