ABSTRACTS
The European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) Scrotal and Penile Imaging Working Group (SPIWG) invites submissions of abstracts for presentation at the Scrotal and Penile Imaging Course to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on April 24-25, 2025. Abstract submissions should adhere to the following guidelines:
1.General Information
Abstracts must be original and pertain to scrotal or penile imaging, including but not limited to novel research, case studies, imaging techniques, and clinical applications.
Deadline for abstract submission: February 18, 2025, 23:59 CET.
Notification of acceptance: By March 18, 2025.
Submissions will be accepted in English only.
2.Eligility
Submissions are open to all healthcare professionals, researchers, and students interested in urogenital radiology.
Accepted abstracts will be considered for oral or poster presentations. Presenters must register for the course to participate.
3.Abstract Format
Title: Should be concise and accurately reflect the content of the abstract.
Authors: List all contributing authors and include affiliations for each author.
The abstract should include the following sections:
Aim: Brief context and purpose of the study.
Methods: Description of the study design, techniques, or methodology.
Results: Summary of key findings.
Conclusion: Implications of the findings.
Figures and Tables: One figure or table may be included. Ensure high resolution and clarity.
References: Up to three references may be included, but are not mandatory.
Word Limit: The body of the abstract should not exceed 300 words.
4.Submission Process
Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the conference submission portal: [Insert Link]
Ensure all fields in the submission form are completed accurately.
Abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
5.Evaluation Criteria
Abstracts will be reviewed by the ESUR SPIWG Scientific Committee based on:
Relevance to scrotal and penile imaging. Scientific merit and originality. Clarity and organization of content. Compliance with submission guidelines.
6.Presentation Formats
Oral Presentations: Selected abstracts will be allocated a 7-minute presentation slot followed by a 3-minute Q&A session.
Electronic Poster Presentations: Posters will be displayed throughout the course.
7.Registration
All presenting authors must register for the course by March 31, 2025. Failure to register may result in the withdrawal of the abstract.
8.Awards
Outstanding abstracts may be eligible for awards in the following categories:
- Best Oral Presentation
- Best Poster Presentation
Award winners will be announced during the closing ceremony.
